We have heard these impressions before: “America is not ready to have a woman as president.” “America will not choose vice president Harris over Trump.” “There’s no way America will have its first female president, and she’s ambiguously Black.” “This is the most important election of all time.”
In six objective insights, we want to explain what this means to anyone living in America. Are these things accurate and valid to hear from worrying people and even those with deep convictions in saying such a thing?
Our first argument, with universal suffrage long established, we have become an American society in which we doubt that a woman can and will ever lead America. We see fear mark the faces of the American people. The lack of boldness of their hearts is an even more questionable attitude towards understanding the electoral arena. We compromise to understand how Americans have adopted an attitude of ignorance toward Trump’s most popular behavior since he became the 45th President of the United States, inaugurated on January 20, 2021. We see him treating women as if they are not part of American society, and the fault of the January 6 United States Capitol attack, due to Trump’s vague style of leadership, which had put him in dire danger.
The recasting of how he belittled and disrespected women comes down to even how he mockingly interacted with a physically disabled veteran. We are not here to tell you as evaluators that his attitudes are fair, unfair, or unprofessional, unfit to be the next American president, but we are guaranteed that the behaviors we have witnessed from him will continue to expand in size.
The second argument is the campaign. How did their campaign convince you about who to vote and who shouldn’t vote for? Have you had enough time to judge who is the appropriate leader to be the Moses of the White House? We saw a rush recently when a particular candidate joined our ballot and was able to accumulate enough Electoral College votes to get on the ballot. Vice president Kamala Harris, after president Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. decided to end his election campaign, due to several speculative and obvious factors, such as his frail age and his physical appearance during occasions caught on camera, showing him physically weak. He was called and encouraged to step down and give way to a more powerful replacement, who is the current vice president of his administration.
3. The candidate’s background and their candidacy. Did you take a lot of time to see what these two candidates did? Have you thought about their political accomplishments? This is how you will truly make an informed decision that will benefit all American interests. This is how you will make an adequate choice about how yourself, grandchildren, and the near future will inherit the consequential aftermath of what happens during and after this election.
4. Referendum, have you thought about the two main driving points of this election? We have a candidate, Donald John Trump who advocates the promotion of life, that is to say who pushes to eliminate the right of abortion, which translates to in turn by a reduction of individual rights, and a woman’s ability to decide whether or not they can proceed with a pregnancy. Leaving a narrow corridor on what women choose regarding their bodies and circumstances. The other candidate, Kamala Devi Harris who promotes and vouches to increase and protect the right to choose and protect the right to abortion in our states.
Faced with these choices at stake, we have two parties that seem to belong to either the extreme far left or an extremist far right. Of course, it will depend on our individualistic judgment to determine to what extent you will truly welcome the platform line presented by these candidates.
5. Non-partisan, take your time to analyze the interest of the nation as a whole, and which of the two remaining candidates appreciates the benefit of a non-partisan approach. How to cultivate this requires a thorough understanding of the political landscape, and how it has been prescribed and addressed by previous candidates as well as the two presidential candidates running. Leave aside your emotions and your habituals, because now is not the time to be that way, your logical card is rather what should be at the forefront of the vote you will swipe, and to actually decide what will keep the health of the economy and the liveliness of the country’s spirit.
Finally, be aware of gerrymandering. Are you keeping up? Are there any candidates who have been selectively manipulated boundaries of electoral districts to take advantage in their own way? How they are performing, and what the electoral map looks like? It’s also about looking closely at the statistical numbers, how they’ve grown, and how these candidates have been favored and disfavored. Pay attention to how their parties typically perform in some predominantly red and blue states. This will give you a clear idea of how you research and listen to these candidates and their mission to move America forward.
