We have heard it many times: artists who took a single decisive step, the courage and energy of which were enough to launch a successful career. Here, we share one of those stories and the long list of remarkable achievements of a bourgeoning artist. After speaking with the talented Maudeline Dérival, we reveal the turning point in her story that catapulted her from zero to a thousand-one. Her latest musical success couldn’t be more confirming, as the singer, whose stage name is Fameuse Maude, knows perfectly how to ardently create entertainment directly influenced by her musical career. As part of her creativity and, among other things, in singing competitions, in concerts where she sings for her fans, and much more. Fameuse Maude topped the news rankings after participating in the MagHaiti competition “Suiv Tras Christopher Laroche” in November 2022, where she was among the ten finalists, demonstrating exceptional skills and further underlining what distinguishes her as a rising star.

In the interview, she talks about her ever-changing world as a musician and in the fashion industry, which has long inspired her to become a designer and create haute couture styles and pieces. “I am fascinated by the artistry and craftsmanship of haute couture. I want to learn the intricacies of creating exquisite and unique pieces that reflect the tremendous creativity that Haiti has no shortage of.” Says Fameuse. She also presents her artistic work based on her famous video and discusses her award-winning competition by Swiv Tras Christopher Laroche, which she is very proud of. It provides a clear insight into her passion and skill in various genres, as well as her love of culture, couture, and nature.

She continues to utilize her singing talent and emphasizes her commitment to her culture and the empowerment of the Haitian people, which she currently expresses through her singing, which is vividly portrayed in one of her gospel music videos titled “Pwomès,” a collaboration with Roobens D’Or. The video is now available on YouTube and other streaming platforms. “This gospel song, Pwomès, is meant to remind Haiti that God’s promise is near and will be fulfilled through Jesus Christ,” adds Fameuse. The singer later says that it is meant to celebrate God’s divine promise and encourage people to trust in his faithfulness.
