Delance is a Haitian woman and a new entrepreneur. As of recently, she has been devoting a significant portion of her time to branding her beauty and footwear business. “I love that I found this company when I was going through a period of uncertainty in my life. It will always be day and night,” says Delance. She works as a President at the Farah Delance Foundation, a community foundation that she founded in 2021, and has been an associate of the founder of MagHaiti, Franciyou Germain.
Delance has been promoting girls’ education in the Haitian community and the United States. Becoming a businesswoman, she tries to focus on how she could be an influential member of the community.
Delance realizes that she has always been gifted in business, “which however, I took a while to think about embracing those qualities,” adds Delance. The story of her childhood and her female cousin, whom she had witnessed being so comfortable and was successful with selling local products like bonbon and other sweets in their local market, when they were both a child, was an amazing life experience that she now includes as a reminder that she has been well geared to grow this new business in beauty and fashion.
Too often we find that our job is to help another person. I always help someone. But I didn’t realize how much help I needed until the support from these women around me just kept overflowing, and then I knew exactly what it means to me, says Delance.

Business and those who support it
A review of her testimony gives her the impression that she is ready to get into business. “I have it in me all this time. And that’s why I learned the lesson of never being upset when something doesn’t behave the way I want. God has a plan for each of us, we just have to listen when he speaks to us”.
The support she got along the way is what made all of this possible. Something that makes her feel very honored and indebted, which nevertheless encourages her to embrace all her professions and with passion in what she creates. “We often hear that women like to compete with other women. But I can’t entirely agree, because not every woman in my friend’s group, or even my family, that are out there to compete with me. No, no, not all the women around me, who are there to compete. Most of the women I have around me have been the reasons I do what I do”, adds Delance.
Delance talks about her morals and some of the tips for campaigning for Revolt-Era
The formula of the Delances business model is very simple. “I work and I’m focused,” says Delance. A company founded with the encouragement of women, with the choice to serve everyone. “We know when a woman and a girl are okay, then the world will be okay too. I was very happy to know that I was part of something for which I was called to do. Choosing the name of my newly founded company “Revoltera” gives both meanings to “Farah Delance Foundation.”
When something happens to us with another person, if we don’t talk about it, but the other person does talk about it first, they will appear not to be at fault, even if they are. This is why, as a representative of a foundation that promotes girls’ education, I encourage everyone to speak up when they encounter something brutal or unjustified,” says Delance. These are some of the values she has embraced in the space she shares with other amazing people around her. This includes how she aims to promote and campaign for “Revolt-Era”.
